Jerrad Hardin is a professional Hitting Instructor and Camp Director for his company of the same name, Jerrad Hardin Fastpitch.
Jerrad got his start in softball in 1999, as a head coach for Cozad High School, where he coached and taught History for six years, guiding his teams to five state tournament appearances, a state runner-up finish, and two state championships. The former NCA Coach of the Year, also guided two additional programs from perennial losers to state tournament participants.
In 2006, Jerrad penned a best-selling book, Coaching Fastpitch Softball: Championship Drills, Tips, and Insights. Later that year Jerrad met Don Slaught (former major leaguer and founder of RVP), who he credits for teaching him how to succeed as a hitting instructor. An expert in the use of Right View Pro Technology, Jerrad analyzes and critiques athletes' swings from professional athletes to the aspiring beginnner.
Jerrad is recognized as one of the top hitting instructors in the country - having consulted with numerous top DI softball programs, countless college athletes, and professional baseball players. He shares his knowledge through his private lesson work at his Omaha facility, University In-Services, and his camp work. What sets him apart is not only his deep understanding of how great hitters succeed, but his ability to teach and communicate.
Currently, Jerrad has succesfully started implementing his hitting seminars within his widely-popular Elite Camps, which features 12-15 college coaches from different levels from DI National Champions to the most popular local schools. These camps provide athletes the opportunity to work with the best coaches in the game in a framework that allows athletes to improve and be noticed by college coaches.
